Help comes
Unexpectedly,
Quietly,
Pink,
Orange,
Red,
As a sunrise.
Eyes close
Suddenly,
Instantly,
Sprung,
Snapped
Shut,
To the blaze.
And what
Of help.
Memory,
Burned
Under eyelids,
Surges white,
Then fades,
As quickly,
As it came.
