We were drawn
By unknown hand,
A canvas made,
Yellow, blue,
Red and green,
The stuff of dreams.
You were all
Languid, long,
A princeling made,
Lute, hair,
Song and sighs,
Lover’s eyes.
We were drawn
By unknown hand,
A couple made,
Lines, strokes,
Brush and knife,
A work of art.
